Where is QAC?

Directions to QAC

From the south

1. The M40 joins the M42 which links with the M5 at Junction 4a
2. Join the M5 northbound and exit at junction 3 following the A456 to Birmingham (3rd exit on the island)
3. Continue over the first two roundabouts to the major crossroads (controlled by traffic lights).
4. Turn right onto Wolverhampton Road South, A4123
5. At the next roundabout take the first exit left
6. Now follow signs for 'Cadbury World' (white on brown) to lead you along Court Oak Road past QAC which is on your left

From the north

1. The M6 gives access to the M5 at junction 8.
2. Leave the M5 at junction 2. Turn right at the roundabout below the motorway and occupy the left lane as you exit the island.
3. Take the first left at the huge traffic island and follow the A4123 to Birmingham.
4. This will lead you to the major junction with the A456 and you should proceed straight across onto Wolverhampton Road South and follow the instructions above as from point 5.

From the north via the city

1. The A46 can be joined from the M6 at Junction 6 and runs through the city giving access to the college
2. Follow the signs for the A38 and you will eventually arrive at Selly Oak passing the University of Birmingham on your right
3. Continue under the railway bridge and get into the outside lane - you will arrive at a major junction controlled by traffic lights
4. Go straight over these lights and get into the filter lane to turn right at the next set which are visible (Sainsburys is on your right)
5. Turn right and proceed down Harbourne Park Road
6. Continue to the mini roundabout where you can only turn left to the next island
7. Take the third exit to the right into Lordswood Road
8. At the next roundabout, take the first exit into Court Oak Road (A4123) and the college is on the right hand side.

By Public Transport

• Take the train to Birmingham New Street, from which the college is a 20-30 minute taxi journey.
• Alternatively take Bus no. 103 which travels past the college and may be joined in the City Center on Colmore Row.
