From individuals to businesses, Charitable Trusts to Foundations, external support is vital in enabling us to continue the great work we do.
Whether it is organising their own fundraising or getting involved in our events, a one off donation or regular financial contributions, or volunteering exercises, businesses can support us in so many ways.

Following an application for funding towards an Optical Aids appeal in January 2010, Zurich Community Trust have since donated a further £450 to support our choir. With ongoing support and contacts within Zurich, the link has grown into a strong relationship with the local Zurich office in Birmingham. We have had teams visit campus and complete gardening and volunteering projects (with more teams to come!) and some staff getting involved on an individual basis offering business support and guidance. QAC staff and students regularly welcome Zurich employees through the doors, and look forward to continue working with them for a long time yet!
After an employee nominated QAC, Secure Trust Bank PLC, based in Solihull, chose QAC to be one of their chosen charities to support. Since the initial decision mid way through 2010 they have donated £1000 to us, which has been used to buy a range of equipment to support our students’ educational and recreational needs.
The Community 5000 Volunteer Scheme provides DWP staff the opportunity to volunteer for a charity or community organisation within their local community. Since getting involved in the scheme QAC has hosted events where DWP individuals have come along and interacted with students and other community organisations. We have also had a team of volunteers visit and take part in a planting day and tea party with some of our PFL students.
