Business Supporters

From individuals to businesses, Charitable Trusts to Foundations, external support is vital in enabling us to continue the great work we do.

Businesses can be involved in supporting us in a number of ways:

Local businesses who have recently supported us include:

* Our performing arts group have been working hard lately on their performances, and they too have had support come in. DanceXchange have kindly made a monetary donation towards buying so props and costumes to use in upcoming performances

Birmingham based theatre supplies firm Central Theatre Supplies and Extreme Makeup based in Grays, Essex have kindly donated a range of make up for students to use!

* Online vision aids companies Magnifico and Edward Marcus Ltd have recently supported our vision and mobility ‘Optical Aids’ appeal, working to build a supply of low tech vision aids for students to use and keep.

Richard Woolston, Commercial Manager at Magnifico, said "We were really pleased to be contacted by QAC and thrilled to hear that the magnifiers we sentmay make some small difference to the lives of students at the college"

Edward Marcus Ltd is committed to helping adults and children who suffer from visual problems and is always happy to support charities and organisations to improve the standard of living in peoples everyday lives

As well as these companies donating vision aids to the appeal, we have also received financial support, in particular the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation who have donated over £1000.

Here at QAC, Ania who is leading the project says “having the correct vision aid helps students a great deal with their lives, both in college and out of college. The support we’ve received will go a long way to help making this happen for every student”.

* Scrivens Opticians, have in recent years funded the development of a sensory garden and have also donated cricket nets which now feature on our sports field.
