Our Events...
We will soon be kickstarting our 2011 events calendar, so here is a preview of what is coming up and has been organised so far.
As well as the events below, the team are currently looking at other event opportunities including Indoor Karting, Paintballing and Abseiling – details will follow soon!

2011 Events Calendar
Bright 4 Sight Week – 10-14 October (QAC, and beyond!)
Have you ever thought, even for an instant, how difficult your life would be if you couldn’t see? Bright 4 Sight is all about people raising awareness about blindness and vision impairment whilst having fun and raising money for QAC. So come on, join in and do something Bright 4 Sight!
National Baking Week – 17-21 October
Baking has taking the UK by storm recently, and so we’re hoping to tap into the craze and join in National Baking Week. We have various activities – sales, competitions, recipes – taking place around college that week which we are really looking forward to. Everyone loves cake – and offices are no exception, so it would be great if you were able to organise a cake sale with your friends/colleagues during that week, with proceeds coming to QAC!
Pamper & Shopping Evening – Thursday 20 October
Following a successful event last year, we are hosting another one this year, this time taking place at the lovely Mint Hotel on Brindley Place. We’ve got lots of companies involved offering a range of treats and demonstrations for guests.
Christmas Craft & Gift Fair – Saturday 3rd December (10.30-3.30) (QAC)
Handmade cards, jewellery, gifts and yummy foods all under one roof! Come along and get some beautiful presents for friends and family. Kids can get creative at the ‘Craft & Make’ table too, and Santa may even pay a visit!
