Harborne is a good place to live and learn. It is quiet but easy to get to. Harborne town centre has loads of shops, cafés and pubs (if you’re old enough to enjoy them). Very near to QAC is a new swimming pool complex, local shops and a park. Harborne even has its own Michelin starred restaurant.
It’s easy to get to the city centre and New Street Station. The 24 bus stops right outside the College. In the City there is fantastic shopping, theatres, music, art galleries and entertainment. QAC is just minutes from junction three of the M5. Some students even fly home from Birmingham International Airport.
Learners can enjoy football at Aston Villa or Birmingham City and concerts at the NIA and NEC. There’s always something happening in Birmingham.
Birmingham is an exciting place with wonderful theatres, clubs, art galleries and museums. There are amazing shops at the Bull Ring and Mailbox. Exhibitions and world-class music at the Symphony Hall, NIA or the NEC Arena offer every type of entertainment. The café, canals, the Ikon Gallery and Sea Life Centre around the modern Brindleyplace fountains are a very popular destination for tourists and locals alike. The city’s restaurants cater for all tastes and budgets including Birmingham’s speciality – the Balti.
