Programme outline This Level 1 Introductory Certificate will encourage you to develop the personal skills
and qualities you need for work in the Hospitality, Travel and Tourism sector.
The course is a practical “hands on” programme with each learning unit studied in the context of real jobs and careers in a chosen vocation.
The Introductory Diploma will allow you to complete extra units and explore the subject in greater depth.
Start dates for this programme are flexible with completion usually achieved within 2 years.
The programme is intended for people who wish to pursue a career in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, such as food service, hotel and travel agency work. You can also use this qualification as a stepping stone to continue with your education at Level 2 in a related area or progress to a vocational qualification (NVQ), for example customer service or administration.
