At BTEC Levels 1 and 2 in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism (HTT) you will have a chance to explore the vast world of travel and tourism but also enjoy taking part in projects such as running a café for fellow students at QAC.
If you are aiming to work in a ‘people business' and might progress to NVQ Customer Service or Sport and Recreation, then HT&T could be just right for you.
The NVQs in Sports and Recreation are based in QAC’s popular and successful ‘Feelgood’ Fitness Centre, which is open to the public. As a member of the Feelgood team you will work shifts, dealing with the public on reception, helping with inductions, leading activities and taking part in running the business.
A Sports NVQ at QAC will give you much more than just a qualification. You will also add a year’s real work experience to your CV and have the chance to take additional qualifications such as the YMCA Instructors Award and First Aid at Work.
All of our training programmes include support with your basic skills of numeracy, communications and information technology.
