Programme outline

The BTEC Introductory Certificate and Diploma are designed to widen participation and improve attainment at Level 1 of the National Qualifications Framework. They offer you a broad introduction to vocational art and design and assist in developing your personal skills and confidence. Your work will be based in our exciting new Art and Design studio. You will have opportunities to work with a wide range of materials independently and as a team member.

Duration

Start dates for this programme are flexible with completion usually achieved within 2 years.

Entry requirements

• An entry certificate in Skills for Working Life or Life Skills or other Entry level qualifications
• An appropriate standard of literacy and numeracy
• Related interests and experiences
