Based in QAC’s newly built performing arts suite, this Level 1 programme will introduce you to
many aspects of the performing arts industry. Whatever your skills or interests, this
programme can focus upon acting, music, stage management or business. You will also study personal effectiveness and personal responsibility at work along with financial management. Through individual and group performances you may complete units in performance administration, technical support
for performance, individual repertoire and showcase or showing your work.
Start dates for this programme are flexible with completion usually achieved within 2 years.
You may progress to a Level 2 Performing Arts programme (e.g. BTEC First Certificate/Diploma) or a related qualification. You might study at a further education college independently or with our support or join a vocational programme (NVQ) to gain skills for employment.
