The BTEC Level 2 First Certificate/Diploma in Performing Arts has four pathways. You can choose from acting, dance, performance or production. Depending on your area of interest, your chosen course will allow you to focus on your talents.

Start dates for this programme are flexible with completion usually achieved within 2 years.

Entry Requirements A student playing the guitar

BTEC Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Performing Arts, or
4 GCSE's at a minimum grade of D-G or a good NVQ Level 1 in an associated discipline

So - what's next?

On successfully completing the BTEC Level 2 First Certificate you could progress to the Level 2 BTEC First Diploma in Performing Arts.

On successfully completing the BTEC Level 2 First Diploma you could progress to the Level 3 BTEC National Award/Certificate in Performing Arts in a mainstream college.
