This Level 2 programme will provide you with an opportunity to gain a nationally recognised vocational qualification to enter employment in the IT sector. At certificate level you will study the use of ICT to present information and choose from a range of units including computer systems, website development, database spreadsheet and numerical applications. You may choose to top up these units to progress to a diploma level.
Start dates for this programme are flexible with completion usually achieved within 2 years.
On successful completion of a BTEC Level 2 First qualification you may progress into employment in the ICT sector or to a Level 3 qualification. Alternatively, you may choose to do a vocational qualification (NVQ) in a relevant subject as a stepping stone to employment.
