A Work Preparation programme lasts between 4 and 13 weeks. It can be residential or non residential.
Work Preparation is ideal for people who are looking for a route into work or education. You can try out a selection of training programmes, brush up on some old skills and start to learn some new ones – especially computer skills.
If you have recently lost your job, if your disability is new to you or has changed and become more of a problem, the Work Preparation Team can help you find your feet and move forward.
Talk to your Jobcentre Plus adviser about Work Preparation. If you want to know more from us, please get in touch.
