Karten CTEC Centre was officially opened in 2004 by Princess Anne. The Centre is equipped with high specification multimedia computers and an exciting range of access and mainstream software, including CAD packages. The Centre houses networked and internet connected multimedia computers and a range of monitors, scanners, laser printers and video magnifiers to suit a variety of individual needs.
“The Karten Centre also opens on Saturdays, so we can do extra research for our coursework. I often go there on Saturday mornings to use email and catch up with my friends online.”
