Queen Alexandra College Conference Centre
The College Conference Facilities are located in Harborne, a quiet residential area in Britain's second city. Harborne offers excellent amenities and a unique village atmosphere whilst being within easy reach of Birmingham's cosmopolitan city centre.
Highly accessible, the College is only minutes from the M5, M6 and M42. Birmingham New Street railway station and Birmingham International Airport are both a short journey away.

Catering
There is a selection of menus from which to choose. However, if you feel you would like something different or you have any specific dietary needs, please contact Mike Holmes of OCS Catering (Tel: 0121 428 5036) who will be happy to discuss these with you.
Three working days notice are required when ordering buffet lunches. However, we will do our best to accommodate your requirements at short notice.
All buffet lunches are prepared for a minimum of ten people with the only exception being the carved buffet and this is for a minimum of fifteen. Working lunches or servery meals are recommended for parties of fewer than five people. Servery meals are available Monday to Friday.
Coffee and tea is served for a minimum of five people.
Food and hygiene standards are very important to staff involved in the catering of conferences held at Queen Alexandra College. As a result of this, the college has been awarded an ‘Excellent’ 5 H rating in the Hygiene Award Scheme. Details about the award here.

Home-made soup of the day, assorted filled sandwiches, caramelized red onion & feta pizza (v), mini vegetable spring rolls with a sweet chilli sauce (v) fresh fruit basket, orange juice & mineral water
Vegetarian Buffet, £6.25 per head
Selection filled tortilla wraps, onion bhajis served with mint yoghurt dip, warm spinach & feta cheese bruchettas, mushroom & pepper quiche seasonal fresh fruit platter with orange juice and mineral water
- Hot Fork Buffet 1, £8.75 per head
Beef chilli con carni or chicken curry & rice served with either steamed basmati rice & pitta bread or baked potato & cheese tossed mixed salad, profiteroles with chocolate Sauce or fresh fruit Basket, orange juice & mineral water. Vegetarian option available
- Finger Buffet 1, £6.95 per head
Assorted meat, fish and vegetarian filled sandwiches, peanut sate chicken kebabs, mini vegetable samosas, served with fruit chutney (v), deep fried breaded prawns Served with a sweet chilli sauce, red onion & goats cheese tapas (v) seasonal fresh fruit platter, orange juice & mineral water
- Finger Buffet 2, £6.95 per head
Selection of meat, fish & vegetarian filled sandwiches, two cheese & spring onion, roasted pepper & mushroom filled Vol au Vents (v), blackened cajun chicken kebabs, caramelized red onion & feta cheese pizza (v), deep fried breaded prawns with a lemon & spring onion dip, fresh fruit basket, orange juice & mineral water
- Executive Buffet £10.75 per head
A choice of two of the following freshly cooked meats served cold with their traditional accompaniments Roast turkey, roast topside of beef, honey roast ham with peaches, smoked salmon & marinated prawns, Indian selection (v), roasted vegetable kebab sticks (v), crusty bread, beef tomatoes with a basil dressing, pasta salad mixed leaves, hot new potatoes with parsley butter, carrot cake with cream, or fresh fruit basket, orange juice & mineral water
Hot Meal or Salad from the College Servery, £6 per head

Holiday Restrictions
Outside College hours there will be a call out charge for unlocking and locking up of the College (£15.00 per visit).
Weekend and evening bookings incur additional staff charges - please ask for costs.
