Entry Level 3 Award in Health and Social Care (QCF)

Requirements:
• An Entry Level 2 Certificate in a relevant qualification
• Related interests and experiences

• An appropriate standard of literacy and numeracy

Programme Outline:
The Entry Level 3 Award in Health and Social Care is a 6-credit programme that offers a ‘taster’ qualification in Health and Social Care. You can develop personal qualities and work skills that are required in the caring sector.

Units to choose from include Investigating Rights and Responsibilities at Work; Managing Your Health at Work; Preparing for and Learning from Work Placement; Health Needs; Introduction to Creative and Leisure Activities for Children and Adults and The Role of the Carer at Mealtimes. This is a nationally-recognised vocational qualification.

Duration:
Start dates for this programme are flexible, with completion usually achieved within two years.

Progression:
On successful completion of this course you might progress to the Level 1 qualification in Health and Social Care or an alternative vocationally relevant program.
