"Learning Disabilities, Sex and the Law" PSHE Training Course - Wednesday 18th October 2017

Our "Learning Disabilities, Sex and the Law" half-day training course will take place on Wednesday 18th October 2017, 1.30pm - 4.30pm.

The training will be delivered by Gill Leno, a specialist sex and relationships teacher, writer and researcher based at Queen Alexandra College, who has many years’ experience and is a leader in her field. She also works in collaboration with other schools and colleges (and various other professionals and support agencies) to develop and deliver specialist sexual health education and policy.

This half-day workshop supports professionals in their understanding of relevant legislation around provision of
service, and will cover rights and responsibilities and duty of care as well as professional boundaries.

The cost of the session is £60 including refreshments as well as resources made available electronically after the training.
