Umberslade Nurseries

Umberslade Nurseries is an Enterprise run by Queen Alexandra College in Harborne, a National College and Charity for people with disabilities. It offers opportunities for outdoor learning for young people and adults who have a disability

Umberslade Nurseries also has a qualified Forest School practitioner.  Forest School is an inspirational process, that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a natural outdoor environment with trees.

In addition to the retail outlet, where you can purchase pots, plants and gifts, there is also a Tea Room.  “The Potting Shed Tea Rooms”  is a very welcoming offering hot drinks, sandwiches and cake all at very reasonable prices. 

We run Workshops and School Holiday Events throughout the year, including Easter Egg Hunts, Teddy Bears Picnic, Forest Schools and can also cater for children’s parties. To keep up to date with upcoming events, pay a visit to our Umberslade Nurseries Facebook page.
