Calibre Audio Library

Calibre Audio Library is a national charity that brings the pleasure of reading to people who have sight problems, dyslexia or other physical disabilities through a subscription-free, nationwide postal and streaming, and download service of recorded books. We offer a choice of 10,000 titles – fiction and non-fiction – recorded unabridged by professional actors and broadcasters. This includes 1,600 in the Young Calibre library for those who are under 16. We offer books on USB memory stick, MP3 CD, and streaming from our website. We also have a new download service that will allow you to download books to your smart device (iOS & Android). A catalogue of our titles is available online as well as in large print. Our contact times are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Calibre staff will be on hand to demonstrate our download service, as well as a range of USB memory stick players.
