QAC is delighted to have been granted planning permission to build a much needed sports hall on its campus in Harborne. This year the UK summer is defined by sport and rain. The weather has not dampened learners' enthusiasm for participating in sport at QAC but it has limited the activities available because there is no suitable inside area to play sport.

The new sports hall will change that for ever and all learners will benefit, not least those who use wheelchairs and cannot always access the grass field.
The only barrier between now and the opening of the new sports hall is the need to raise £1.4 million pounds and the capital fundraising has now started in earnest. QAC's Fundraising Co-ordinator, Sarah Caldwell said "now the starting pistol has been fired the fundraising team is off the blocks and the race to raise the funds for our sports hall is underway. We know that this will not be a sprint but we certainly do not expect a marathon given the track record of our previous capital appeals."
QAC is inviting donations and support small and large to enable learners to be using the new facility as soon as possible.
