ClearVision is a national postal lending library of over 14,000 children’s books in braille and print, adapted for sighted and visually-impaired children and adults to share. In response to demand, ClearVision is also building up a collection of simple books in Moon and print. Do call at the stand to find out more about Moon and the work of the Moon Forum.
ClearVision books are borrowed by over 1,000 families, schools, VI services and libraries all over the UK. Our collection caters for babies and toddlers, for pre-schoolers and for primary school children. We also have some books appropriate for young teenagers who are not yet confident braille readers. To meet a variety of needs, most of our books are available in grade 1 or grade 2 braille.
We now have over 1,000 wonderful tactile books available for loan to schools and v.i. services. Some of these books will be on display on the ClearVision stand and you are welcome to come and enjoy them even if you don’t want to join the ClearVision library!
