Azabat have a range of talking computer games and touch-typing tutors that are designed for blind and partially sighted computer novices. The products are self-voiced and require no special software (such as screen readers or speech engines). Furthermore, there is no installation required - simply put the disk into your PC and let the games begin.
The games are based on popular board games and logic puzzles, including Yahtzee, Blackjack, Connect 4, Hangman, Target, Battleships, Sudoku, Backgammon, Dominoes and Draughts.
There are two touch-typing tutors. For total novices, the beginners' version will teach you how to find your way around the keyboard with a collection of lessons and exercises. The advanced touch-typing tutor covers capitals and punctuation as well as the shortcuts and navigation keys, and includes a section on learning to type in Braille and a collection of spelling tests.
