Daytime Support

Our days here at QAC are well structured and nearly all of our students attend College full time, 5 days per week.

Our College week is as follows;

Monday: 9.30am - 4pm
Tuesday: 9am - 4pm
Wednesday: 9am - 3pm
Thursday: 9am - 4pm
Friday: 9am - 3pm

We have a large number of staff in College, but the specific ratios will depend on the individual student and their particular needs.

At breaktimes and lunchtimes you will be able to use our large dining room, which offers a wide range of choice for all tastes. Special dietary requirements can also be met.

In addition to your programme tutor, you will have access to a personal tutor, Learning Support Assistants (LSA’s), Mentors, Counsellors, a Sensory Support Officer, Speech and Language Therapists, Dyslexia Support, Educational and Clinical Psychologists, a Braille Tutor, Mobility and Travel Trainers, Visual Impairment Training Officer and a Personal and Sexual Health Education (PSHE) Lead.

We work really hard here at QAC to ensure that we can help you with any aspect of your life so that you can reach your full potential.

What the students say

QAC is helping me to achieve my goals. PFL is a really fun course to be a part of and I have made lots of improvement with my confidence and social skills.
