Highlighting QAC Student Millie

Today we are highlighting QAC student Millie.

Last week, Millie was invited to her former school, Hazel Oak, to meet current students and give them an insight into life at QAC and the range of opportunities available following their time at school.

Millie started at QAC in 2023 on our LEAP Care programme and will be progressing onto our Vocational Health and Social Care course in September.

In her free time, Millie volunteers at Solihull Inclusive Choir – an inclusive singing and signing Makaton group, with a focus on giving a voice to people with severe and profound learning disabilities.

Learning different forms of communication enables Millie to better communicate with staff and students throughout the campus, as well as support new students in her role as Student Ambassador.
