PAN Disability League fixtures

Queen Alexandra College’s football team recorded their best set of results in the season’s final round of PAN Disability League fixtures.

A record of three wins (one friendly), one draw and two losses is very respectable considering the quality of award-winning opposition - even one football academy - they faced.

Team QAC did not score in their opening match against Dudley, which ended in a goal-less draw, before a fine finish from Jayden O. earned them a deserved 1-0 victory over Westminster to drastically boost the team’s confidence.

Then came the two games everyone knew would be the most challenging.

Team QAC had many positives to take from their 2-0 defeat to award-winning side Hereward, and followed it up with a spirited display against football academy Birmingham Metropolitan, which was only decided by a solitary moment of quality.

Two wins drew the curtain on a successful outing for Team QAC. Patrick's late winner gave them all three points against Heart of Birmingham’s first team, before a dominant 3-0 victory over their ‘development’ side capped a morale-boosting morning at Redditch United’s The Valley Stadium.

A huge well done to all involved.
