Relay Your Way makes a stop at QAC
Relay Your Way is an exciting relay event currently travelling across Britain celebrating the 1.5 million young people in the UK with disabilities including half a million children living with brain conditions. The baton started its journey in Glasgow on 3rd June and is due to reach Windsor on 6th July. The goal is to send a powerful message: sport, adventure, and play should be inclusive for all.
Last Thursday, the Relay Your Way team made a stop at QAC to pass the baton to our runners who participated in the next leg of the journey from QAC to Uffculme School. Before setting off the QAC team were joined by students for a lap around our sports field.
Prior to the baton arriving everyone got to try out different accessible sports with assistance from our very own Sports students and Luke from British Blind Sports who was also in the running team alongside QAC staff members; Ryan, Chris, Fatima and Steve.
A big well done to those involved, see other ways we have supported the cause and find out more by clicking the link https://www.relayyourway.org/team/qac/
