Removing barriers to learning for young people with vision impairments

Every young person has the right to read and learn in a way they find accessible. However the classroom environment can create a number of challenges for students with vision impairments to engage with their learning. This includes viewing whiteboard, interacting with print, reading curriculum texts and completing work alongside sighted peers. This session explores how the latest assistive technology helps to overcome these barriers and make learning accessible. Join Simon Kitchen to discover how SuperNova Education Kit enables young people with vision impairments to read, study and learn independently, succeed at school and prepare for life beyond education.
