QAC students showcase their talents in Film Festival
On 30th June, the Creative Media department collaborated with independent cinema The Mockingbird in Digbeth for this year's Curiosity Short Film Festival. The festival showcased short films from media students and other talented QAC groups, judged by a panel of special guests from the film and TV industry.
Media students organised the film festival as part of their coursework and worked together as a team to make the event a reality. Parents, staff and our in-house film stars celebrated on the red carpet - what a way to end the year!
Charlie Stonham, Actor/ media Creative and Alumni of QAC, Trustee, said, 'I just wanted to say wow – what an incredible Curiosity Film Festival! A huge congratulations to all the staff and students.
Families commented, “Well done to all the students involved. You should all be incredibly proud of what you've achieved.”
