QAC hosts its annual Summer Games
On the 2nd-4th July, QAC hosted its annual Summer Games, with this year's theme celebrating countries around the world.
Students were able to get involved in various activities, including different sports races, cake decorating and Nintendo Wii games tournaments, just to name a few.
Wednesday marked the start of the summer games with the opening ceremony, where students showcased facts about their chosen country, the initial sporting activities began and then followed by our annual staff vs students football match. The match was competitive as ever, with the staff securing the win with a last-minute goal.
Thursday focused on the different activities for the students to get involved in, relay races, welly wanging, archery, accessible sports, VI games and bake off, a very busy day for all students to get stuck in.
Friday celebrated the end of the summer games with the QA Factor final and the closing ceremony, where the winners over the few days collected their certificates and medals for all events and Eden, our QA Factor winner, sang his winning song with the students getting up to dance around in the courtyard.
An overall fantastic few days to slowly round off the 24/25 academic year, and a big well done to everyone involved!
