QAC launches Builder Brighter Futures Appeal

On Wednesday 4th February , Queen Alexandra Charity (QAC) welcomed members of the local community, corporate partners and supporters to an event to officially launch its Building Brighter Futures Appeal.

The evening offered guests an exclusive insight into the College’s ambitious long‑term development plans and the vision driving the next decade of growth.

During the event, Mark Abrams, Chair of Governance, and Bev Jessop, CEO and Principal, outlined QAC’s future direction and the strategic importance of modernising its facilities to meet increasing demand. Over the past ten years, student numbers have steadily risen, and projections indicate further growth once new developments are complete.

Guests were also able to view concept art showcasing how the QAC campus could look following the planned redevelopment, providing a visual representation of the College’s commitment to creating an accessible, innovative and future‑focused learning environment.

As part of the launch, Cathryn Worth, Head of Income Generation, highlighted the role of the fundraising team throughout the appeal period. She also introduced attendees to the newly launched JustGiving page and the Building Brighter Futures Roll of Honour, both designed to recognise and encourage supporter involvement.
